i need a friend thats a single mom

So my ex and I aren't working I'm not happy and why should I stay somewhere where I'm not happy? So he is from the UK and after I told him I don't want to work it out and it's too much going on he said he's going back to the UK leaving me and my son and never coming back becAuse I don't want to be with him. Its just a lot of emotions right now im a ftm and I never thought this would happen. How did any of you single mom's deal with this? I do have help and I just want what's best for my son. I told my ex I would never teach my son to walk away like that if his relationship doesn't work out. I'm 22 and I just need a friend...

It's just not being happy in a relationship it's not healthy. He basically said it's either we have a family or nothing. I'm not staying where I'm depressed all the time I already dealt with that in the past. I said well I will never leave my son hanging like that he's innocent I'm not putting him in the middle or using him as an excuse to stay. I never thought I could love someone as much as I love my son. And I just want to protect him and make him happy. I just don't see how anyone could leave a child they never held

My oldest son has a different father than my husband. His dad left me when I was 3 months pregnant because he couldn't handle my hormones... I was 15 and he was 18. My son will be 6 years old on the 18th and he can be a handful sometimes but I've been raising him well :) it's tough and can be stressful but if he feels that leaving like that is okay than let him. Now on the other hand he could just be saying it to hurt your feelings because he is hurt.
