Im 27 weeks pregnant and ive had a cold for three days. So far its getting worst everyday. Day one i had a rough cough. Day two, my cough got worst and nose is sniffly. And now day three, a small fever that wont go away and sinus pains. I wish to know if theres any at home remedies i can take. I have honey but its unpasteurized and realised after i got it. So now its just sitting in tge back of my pantry. Ive tried a cold cloth on my forhead all day. I just want to bring the fever down a little. Its not high at all, im like right on the line but with the cough its bringing me down. Please help :(

If its high id go to the er cuz it can cause dehydration and with a body temp raise it can cause discomfort to baby. I know doctors are different but mine has said its ok for me to take any Tylenol product. The Tylenol cough and cold would maybe work.

Just called my dr and she said if the fever reaches 38 then i can take one regular tylenol but thats it. Im gonna try to force my temp down with a cold bath. If it goes above 38, should i head to the emergencie?

Plenty  of fluids.... I broke down and took childrens Tylenol cold liquid to break my fever. I also got herbal cough drops with no meds in them ,all homeopathic stuff. Saline spray for my stuffy nose, and just rested. I hope you feel better : (

I got really sick twice since I was prego, my doc had me use afrin nasal spray ( being pregnant you tend to get more drainage and it can cause sinus problems and a sore throat, Benadryl at night and Tylenol cold during the day and I was better in a few days, but my cold turned into a sinus infection and then I got strep on top of that it was horrid but I was on antibiotics for the strep

I would go to the er they'll know what you can and can't take. Especially with a fever you don't want it to get out of hand.

If you dont want to go to the er try calling your doctor he may know over the counter meds you can take.
