I'm here again ... Horrible contractions they are 4 minutes apart I just got checked I'm 1cm:( ugh I can't wait to be done they won't even give me epidural untill I'm 5cm so I'm suffering this s u c k s and I'm Soo sleepy I've been up all night because contractions :( I hope they don't send me home again ! My fiance says he is not leaving without a baby lol so he wants me to talk to them into keeping me here or inducing me . :( I'm scared and in pain I want this over

They don't wanna give you the epidural yet till then cause it can slow your labor down if you get it to early and end up with a csection ..... I got mine at 1cm and only dilated to 3.5cm and stopped and wouldn't dilate anymore and had a csection with my first . Good luck tho !

At my hospital thru give you a choice. ..you can either go home or walk around the hospital for 1 hour to see if anything changes.  The only way my hospital admits you is if your water breaks or you walk for an hour and you dialate more( obviously if you have high blood pressure, etc). There has to be progression. Only reason being is because you can stay at 1 cm for weeks, so there's no point to keep you at the hospital.  So if you don't dialate more,  they'll probably just offer you a shot for the pain or to stop the contractions.

Yeah they should just induce you...or theyll end up stopping ur labor
