inducing

What's the process? What do you go through. How scary is it than waiting for Natural birth? I have 10 days left until my DD..If I don't have her by tomorrow then I'll be induced Monday the 3rd. All kinds of emotions are running through my mind.

O and my son was a natural birth at 35weeks and it was a terrible experience for me. My epidural didn't work, I tore and I was in extreme amounts of pain during contractions. I preferred the induction.

I was induced at 40+1 it was a great easy process for me. At 7:30am I was brought to the l&d room where they set up the monitors and everything. At 9:30 they started pitocin which didn't do much to help dilate me I was already at 4cm. The contractions were more painful then i ended up being able to handle so i got the epidural. At noon the doc came in and broke my water  which made me automatically go to 5cm. About 1:30 the doc came in and I was at 10cm but my daughter was still higher up than they wanted so they had me sit up so gravity would help with her coming down. At 210 the doc came back to check and decided I was ready! After 15mins of pushing my princess was born at 2:38pm weighing 7lbs 10.8oz and 20.5in long!
