quit smokeing

Did any of you have to quit smoking when you got pregnant? How did you do it? With my first or was easy because it made me sick but now I'm craving one all the time!

I smoked maybe 1or 2 cigarettes a day for the first cple weeks after I got pregnant bit after that the smoke became too much. It made me nauseous and made my stomach hurt. I stopped cold turkey and I feel much better, so do my lungs. I never stopped with my 1st pregnancy but that was 13yrs ago so i'm glad I was able to stop with this one!

My doc said not to quit cold turkey because it will harm the baby, I weaned myself off them but honestly I would probably still be smoking but it made me sick I can't even think a out a cig without puking now

I just stopped. It's mind over matter. You should just think about all the danger you putting your baby in. That's what helped me. Everytime I thought about smoking that would stop me. He's two months old now and I haven't smoked since I found out I was pregnant.

Just dnt smke alot like 2 -3 a week cigs can cause problems especially in beginning...
