intense mothering instinct

Anyone else feeling this? I'm 33 weeks and I have really strong urges to take care and baby things. My dogs have been pampered and I cuddle with them on the bed. I have FOUGHT the urge not to get a baby kitten or puppy or even a baby chicken I wanted at one point lol  My bf thinks I'm crazy. But I just want to hold something in my arms, cradle it, and take care of it. It's driving me crazy. I've never felt this way before.

Your instincts are kicking in...you're beginning to nest and nurture. Sort of "practice" before the baby comes.

I wanted a puppy or kitten so bad when I was pregnant. I still want one now but I have to fight myself not to get it because I don't think it would be good for the baby.
