intervention early pregnancy.?

i have a friend who is in her 40s and had a positive pregnancy through blood work. she only has one tube and one overy and was told her tube was blocked. her hcg levels stayed the same but today she got a phone call and was left a message from her dr saying they need to talk about doing an intervention. what does that mean?

It sounds like the doctor thinks she might need some help; possibly due to the blocked tube, they think the embryo is in the tube.
