is first born labor usually the quickest?

I heard the first born is usually the easiest birth. I was the first child, labor and birth combined for my mother was 30 minutes. My youngest siblings birth took the longest at 6 hours.

My first was 5 hours! I pushed 3 times && he was out && i didn't push for hours or nothing it felt like a couple of minutes! All natural && i had a small tear.

my first was for 8 hrs. my secound was 2 1/2 induced. & my third was 7 hrs.baby #4 im hoping to go faster!! :)

I hope the first isnt the easiest. I was in labor with my son for 31 hours. And waited almost 22 hours before getting an epidural. I hope when I deliver my second it doesnt take that long but I guess ill find out in october.

Anyone I talked to the first one was longer, than the second was quicker and the third went between the first and second one for length.

Not true for me my first was 14 hrs and pushed for about an hour my second was pretty easy labor lasted 3 hrs and pushed only 2 times ;)

Mine was but usually its a long one I was in labor 18 hours but only took 2 pushes to get him out

my first was 20 minutes longer than my second but i was pushing for A LOT longer with my first
now on baby #3 and hope it goes faster!
Ive always heard that the more you have the quicker they are
My husbands grandma had 9 kids and she swore they just crawled out after 5 lol

Everyone is different, my first i was in labor for 13 hours and ended in a csection. My second is being born in the morning via csection

Sorry to say but your mum was lucky that's not usually the case usually the first is long war and second is half the time. Labour with my son lasted 25 hours I'm praying to god this one is no where near as long. Not to put you off he was back to back and took a long time to progress then 3 hours to push xxx
