is it ok

Is it ok to sleep on your right side when pregnant, I've heard to always sleep on your left side. But sleeping on my right side is the only way I'm comfortable.

Believe me anyway you can get comfy take it! Im 36 weeks and its sooooo misreable trying to find sleep positions. If I have to lay on my right side taking all the bed and pillows ima do it! Lol left side just promotes better circulation. But honestly who sleeps in one position all night? The further along you get the more you'll toss and turn also. Good luck sweetie!

I usually sleep half on my tummy half on my right side. Weird position that people think is uncomfortable but its not for me. I absolutely can't sleep on my left side or back. I tried to sleep on my left side once and i stayed up all night. I just can't sleep on that side.

The left side is just a suggestion to help avoid problems. It helps to digest food so less heart burn at night and less chance of stomach aches from food that doesn't normally sit well. It also is known to help blood flow through the body which helps the heart and lungs and of course than the brain. But sleeping on your right side doesn't have any negative effects. I can only sleep deep on my right side but I try to switch sides once in a while just to keep my hips, thighs, and back from hurting too much. Sleep however your comfortable is what I would say
