Oh mama :( I'm sorry I know it's tough, but trust me, YOU WILL GET THROUGH THIS! That don't wake up every 3 hours forever stay strong
Is there anyone else close by that could help you? If so don't be afraid to ask for help. Being a new mommy is stressful. Especially when you're doing it alone. I think I cried just as much as my son did in the first month lol just give it some time. You two are getting to know each other still. You wont be super mommy overnight. It took me and my son about a month and a half to find what worked.
my mom told me when we were little she would take naps when we took naps so she can feel more energized through out the day when we were up I plan on doing the same maybe y can try this
Thanks ladies, i try to nap but it feels like im waisting the day away cuz other things need to be done :/ dr told me to take it easy the first 6 weeks n i have kinda but in ways i havnt lol. The only people around me are an older couple 70s and my mom who lives next door and she hasnt offered at all to help or come see the baby n she didnt even come to the hospital when the baby was born.... shes only seen her once in three weeks :/ makes me mad but i expexted it really condidering she abandoned me n left me w/ my pops but i expected alil more out of her w/ the baby
I felt the same way when I had my son. There were so many things I could be doing when he was napping. Eventually I just would nap every other time he napped. I made a schedule. I would sleep during his morning nap, shower/eat during the next one, nap during the next one, eat during the next one ect.
Ask ur mkm for help she might be feeling the same just talk to her she mihjy thknk u don't need her help or advice
Ive asked my mom to come over several times n she says she will yet she never does and she lives NEXT TO ME so its not hard to get over here. I mean ill give it a try agin i guess but idk what good it will do. I wish my grandpa could help more but i understand, i left her with him for an hour to go to walmart the other day n when i got home he said she cryed the whole time and when i checked her diaper he had put it on backwards (after raising 4 girls) i think his alzheimers is just getting to bad.
My mom isn't the best at the grandma game either. Contact the hospital where you had her. Some hospitals offer new parent support groups and programs. I know here we have a program where a person comes to your house and teaches you about being a parent, time management, and how your little one is developing.
