VA Has A Ton Of Jobs Listed For Different Specialties As Well As Fleet And Family (If Navy) And MWr (For Army) They Do Workshops That Count FoR Experience And Volunteer Hours. If you just got out then you should qualify for max unemployment while you look for a job. And you should be able to use your GI or post 9/11 for schooling for free and even a housing allowance. Good luck!.

Definitely, unemployment also holds seminars for veterans to assist with the job search (some do the resumes for you because we tend to use military lingo). I get emails everyday for jobs they I may qualify for.

Idk If youve Looked At This But It's A Pretty Good Break Down. I Had To Write My Husbands Resume Because He Couldn't Seem To Translate His Resume Into Civilian Terms Or Make It Appealing To A Civilian Audience. Air LiquiDe Is The Company He Is With And It's MilitaryPreferred. They Have Shipping And Distribution Jobs For Newly Civilian And They Offer A Ton Of Benefits. If You Go The Unemployment Route See If You Can Get Your Resume Checked And Get Feed Back On it.
Usually If You Can Find Veteran Contracting Job, If You Meet The RequirementsAs Far As Job Skills Needed Then They Waive The College Requirements.
