labor story
41 weeks and 1 day. I started having contractions yesterday at 12:30 a.m, I slept through it pretty well until 5:30 a.m. Got up, took a short bath, started timing them about 8-10 mins apart. Luckily I had my last ob appt at 2:40, my non-stress test didnt pick up my contractions.. Doctor checked me, i was 100% effaced at 2cm and my water sac was bulging. He said i could come into the hospital sometime at night if contractions get closer. ONCE i left the doctors and got home, i was at 4-7 mins apart with STRONG contractions. I went to the hospital @ 5:30 p.m, got the biggest room. My cm's omly went up to 3 but i got to stay!! I did NOT get an epidural. The 3rd time i got checked, the nurse accidentally broke my water. Labor got pretty serious, real painful. I got to take a shower twice, that was very helpful and amazing. After 6 and a half hrs, i had my 8.11 lb babygirl. Its was a very natural and painful experience, but i made it. Her name is Evolette Caroline
