labor story!

Today my son made his grand entrance @ 40-1. My doc wanted me to wait until next week but our fam recived another blessing and his dad got a job that requires him to leave the state next week so my doc said we are gonna induce you Friday morning! Well today came and at 7am I started the pitocin. I was already at 3cm and 50% when I arrived so labor went pretty quick! By 11am I was at 6 and 80%. The contractions were 3-4 minutes apart but still tolerable! By 1pm I was at 8 and 90% and feeling the pain!!!! I even said I wanted and epidural!! When they came to sit me up I was like oh no I'm pushing!!! My doc who I love came in and checked and within two minutes I went from 8 to 10! My son was ready! I started pushing at 1:30 and by 1:46 he was here!!! I did it all natural and it was well worth it! He was 7lbs 5oz and 20inches long! I have never been so in love with such a small person lol! He's doing great and breastfeeding like it's going out of style lol! He shares a bday with his cousin just ten years apart lol how crazy!! Plus im a Christmas baby and ended up with a Halloween baby! Didn't it feel weird?! Every time i would contract or laugh or something it would gush out! Crazy

Oh and my water never broke! They broke it as I was pushing him out! My sis said it would happen that way and it sure did lol

Congrats! You are awesome for going natural! I caved in haha. We both have halloween babies!
