ULTRASOUND COULD BE WRONG??

i had an ultrasound done yesterday to determine the gender but i lied to the 3D place about how far along i was. You had to be 15 weeks minimum to find out and i was 14 weeks and 5 days. They told me they saw 2 round circles meaning its a girl. I just have a feeling its a boy. Is there a chance they could be wrong? Has this happened to anyone where they determined wrong??

I was 16 weeks when I found out I was having a boy with my second kid on a little portable ultrasound they had brought into the room. I'm on my last pregnancy and I went for a 4D at 14 weeks they told me they saw three lines and it was a girl and they was 99% for sure. So far I've had 2 more ultrasound and they still see three lines. My last ultrasound they called it a "hamburger" lol I thought that was weird

Any time before 18-20 weeks has a higher chance of being wrong. There is a reason they make you wait as those parts are still developing. My doc ordered my anatomy scan at 18&4 and the ultrasound tech was actually unhappy about it saying I  should wait.... I wouldn't get set on one gender still your doc confirms if at the anatomy scan later on

I was told to wait until I was 25 weeks before they could tell me what the gender was. At first the baby's legs were closed and we couldn't see anything. So they had me move around, jump, dance and wiggle to see if the legs would open. They did and I saw my baby boy.

Where I live you have to be at least 14 weeks in order to find the gender out and they told me it was a girl. It says they're 99% sure the ultrasound is right.

I know a girl that was told it was a girl then later they saw it was actually a boy. I would wait till around 20 weeks just to know for sure :)

I had an ultrasound at 12 and 15 weeks that said girl but my ultrasound that took place at 20 weeks confirmed my suspicions that its actually a boy. The tech said more often baby boys are mistaken for girls because all the boy parts are hard to distinguish before 18 weeks.

Yes it could be, cause that could also be the babys male parts too forming.. they recommended to wait til atleast 18 - 20 weeks.. i had a ultrasound for this pregnancy at 13 and I ask my doctor if you could see gender, she said yes it's there but very tiny to determine... you should wait and confirm in a couple of weeks..
