Everyone is different. I'm not going to lie ... I'm a wimp when it comes to pain ! The only pain I can really handle is tattoos Lmao. The worst part about labor for me was getting admitted. They kept blowing my veins trying to get the iv in. But once I got to the room it wasn't so bad. And once I got the epidural I was great. Even took a nap. U just feel pressure. No pain. I respect woman that do it naturally tho. I wish I could.

I was going to go naturally until I had to have a emergency c section. I was dilated to 7 I didn't find the pain to be that bad with contracting and all . I think them checking you is the worst part but everyone is different

im a ftm and i just barely had my baby and to be honest, it wasn't that bad as ppl make it seem! i had it natural with no medication. the things that help me were staying positive, motivated, & controlling my breathing through each contraction. when i felt the pain i thought about it as a " marathon" or a workout lol..

Honestly I'm not going to lie, it was the worst pain I've ever felt in my life. However, I went without drugs so I may have a different experience than others. Pushing is hard and takes a lot of energy so make sure you rest as much as you can during labor. With all of that said though, you forget all of the pain the second you see your baby. Its truly a beautiful experience!

Its different for everyone, but contractions are not fun, pushing isn't as bad as you think. During early labor, ask for newbain and you will sleep through early labor. Then when you can, get the epidural and you can sleep through hard labor till the end and you feel hard pressure to push.
