laying down.

So I've heard that laying on your back is bad after the first trimester. Anyone fall asleep on their side and wake up later laying on their back ? Any suggestions on how to avoid that?

I'm 39+1 and still lay however I feel comfortable. The only thing wrong with it is studies show that it CAN POSSIBLY cut blood flow to your legs and get you blood clots.

You can lay whatever way you feel comfortable. They say you shouldn't lie on your back because your uterus can cut off the blood supply going from your legs to your back, I don't remember what artery specifically it cuts off but that's what they say. I was laying on my back to sleep up until a couple weeks ago, I'm 39 weeks + 6 days & now when I lay on my back I feel like I cant breathe after a couple minutes.
