I've been try to read and watch videos online to get myself familiar and ready before my baby comes.. but everytime I share my thoughts and what I've watch online with my mom she seem to disagree  with most of the thing I say. Like:  *** I got a rock n play so I can have my baby next to me so it'll be easier to feed him every two hours. But she said I won't even use it because the baby wants to be on the bed with me and I can't but the baby overnight with it.          **** I got a bottle/milk warmer .. also said I won't need it .. so I returned it.
**** she wanted me to get baby powder and oil but I read that it's not recommended.                       *****  also with my bouncer she said i wont need it because a blanket on the floor would be enough and should give the baby freedom to learn how to walk quicker and not rely on the bouncer . ***We barely have the same thought  my mom's youngest is 10 yrs old but I don't know I'd I should listen to everything she says. Any suggestion.. ?

Rock and play is not recommended to have baby in it for hours on end! I was dying to get one until I read reviews I think I'm going to avoid now at all costs!

Everyone's different. I don't feel comfortable having my baby in our bed so we're getting a bassinet. But I have learned my mom is right about a lot of things. I'm sure with her having 4 kids she'd know best right? Lol but I'm sure your mom has your best interest but do what you feel is most comfortable! Talk to her about it! She was raised in a other era some moms are pretty old school. Just keep receipts to be safe lol!
