sac but no embryo

Have any of you experience all the pregnancy symptoms but then the ultrasound shows nothing but a sac? I'm 8 weeks according to my phone application and I went to the ER today because I woke up bleeding, they told me I might be to early but then they said I just have an empty sac with no embryo and really high hormones (4,000)  have any of you have been told this but had a successful pregnancy????

I had all the same symptoms - morning sickness, sore breasts, normal hcg - but it was a blighted ovum, no embryo just a sac discovered at 11 weeks, I had to have a D+C. I hope this is not what happened in your case but if it is know that you are not alone. Good luck and I hope everything turns out okay.

Yup  happend to me with my first pregnancy I miscarried the day after they told me I had sac but no baby
