looks like im going to be induced :(
40weeks and 4 days and still nothing he juzt doesn't want to leave midewife said my cervix is 4cm all ready for hom but ots him that needs to move down wow I cant believe its taking so long my first boy was never this hard im so over it I dont get induced until 26/ 27 of this month I have tried everything to start Labour and nothing I just want him here already this geat isnt making it any easier its lik 33 in Australia today and its going to be like this all week :( my birthday is on the 24th get another sweep help ladies I think im about to cry im so over this

He was due the 16th im now 6 days over due -.- nothing is eotking to bring him on
Thanks Mandajayne0333 that's what I thought they say that colostrum is best for the baby so I was worried about wasting it as I've begun to express it. Bless ya Jelly_kelly we are all getting annoyed by the sounds of things lol x best of luck x
I haven't even dilated. I'm glad my doctor at least was willing to schedule me to be induced in case my baby decided not to come on time. I'll be induced on Tuesday. This is my first baby and I'm nervous . Looks like she likes being in here. 40 weeks and 1 day. Ugh I'm so annoyed!
Its not milk thats coming out before birth its called colostrum. :) its a really nutritious fluid for baby that comes before your milk which does come in after birth. It can be clear or yellowy colored and here is aust they call it liquid gold as its so good for your baby. But yes ive heard that nipple stimulation does work if your body is ready when trying to bring on labor. Best of luck girls hope it works out for you and youre holding your babies soon. Xxx
Yeah its fine. My midwife suggested it to help bring labour on as your belly can contract from expressing! Your over 40 weeks so it's fine for your little one to be born. Try it I'm going to do it again today. I was so suprised thay even a drop come out yesterday as like yourself I didn't think I would have any! The second time I did it, it was more noticeable
Oh i didnt know that I thought milk didnt come out until baby was born I guess I learn something everyday and its safe to pump ?
I don't either. Not proper stuff anyway. I only started today and had a small amount of clear droplets of fluid come out. Not a drop reached the bottle but then 2 hours later i did it for another 10mins on each one and I had the tiniest but of cloudy fluid come out. Not even enough to fill a teaspoon but it was still something. Doing it will encourage your body to start producing the milk and trying to express sends signals to the brain that it's for the baby and this is what apparently starts the contractions off
My little man estimated 5lb2oz on the 5th of Jan god only knows what he weighs now. He is just being lazy everything is ready for him lol I think he is just comfortable in my belly. I so don't want to be induced though......Have you tried expressing your breast milk!? My midwife said that can bring on labour. I tried it today gonna keep trying over the next few days too
Uer im afraid my man is going to be that big he is measuring over 40 plus weeks so scared im going to have huge baby why do theu do this to us :(
I haven't been checked to see if I'm dialtated either. Damn UK do things the long way round :-( so done with this. I feel like a whale. If he stays in any longer he will probs be a 10lb baby as I'm huge! Arg!
Yer im a bit sad my first son never took this long , this one just wants to stay in there and I agree dont do the oil I already asked if that would send me into Labour and she said unless u want to vomit and go to the toilet the oil doesnt nothing but upset ur tummy I have tired every labour starter she said its not me my body is ready im 4cm just waiting on the little guts to actually get me going :(
I haven't had my 1st sweep yet. I know the feeling. This is my 1st baby. My friend just had her baby 4 weeks early so im super jealous now!I've even tried castor oil :-/ didn't work so don't wanna risk using it again. Same my sister and mum have said to me they hope I go into labour naturally as induction is so much more intense :-(
Im having my fourth sweep on my birthday I really dont want to get induced because I heard its worse and I want me now because of the heat im not coping very well it dies suck I just want him here already :(
I know the feeling I'm 40+3 tried everything you could possibly think of to get my little man out! Must be a boy thing. I'm from the UK and they won't give me a membrane sweep until I'm a week over due so the 25th! And my induction date isn't until the 2nd of March! So tired of this. Can't sleep it's 1.29am and im still wide awake. I hope you manage to get things started. Best of luck x
