lose medical card?

So me and my husband got married on October 7th. He makes 14.57 an hour one week is 36 hours the next is 48 hours. I make 8.50 40hours a week. I've had the medical card since a few days after I found out. Will I lose the medical card? A lot of people say I won't cause they don't take it when ur pregnant. But i feel like they will! I need to know cause my husbands enrollment for insurance at work closes the 15th and doesn't open again until next October. But I also don't wanna be making him pay for insurance and not need it!

You probably make too much with your combined income. If ins is offered to you thru his work then you should take it. Although you should see when it will kick in cause it might not kick in until after your baby is born.

I don't care if I have insurance after 6 weeks pp. Ive never had it before. And I have updated but I'm still waiting on them to send me a letter saying if anything changed.

I don't think you willl they should give you at least pregnancy related medical  ... but you can always call them. Your suppose to call whenever anything changes and report it anyways. Id call them before your husbands insurance closes.

Whether you lose it or not now you lose it 6 weeks after the baby so I would advise you to get on his insurance just so afterwards you still have something
