I've had 2 sweeps and still nothing, no pains or anything and I'm 41+4. Haven't lost my plug either, midwife said I was 2cm dilated. Everyone's different I guess

Thanks ladies(: I just lost a part of my mucus plug. She said she stretched my cervix out pretty good. I've been having period cramps but I've been having those for a while. Nothing yet but I'm hoping something will happen soon(:

Teamgreen23 you have to realize that there is a 10% chance to go into labor by getting your membrane stripped under 3cm and a 80% chance of going into labor over 3cm. So truly you have a better chance of going into labor if you are more then 3cm. You got lucky. But there are a lot of women that are in pain for days because there body isn't ready.

I'm 38 weeks and was not dilated at all. My Doc strippedcontractions tuesday to help kick start and I had already lost my plug. I've had some contractions but nothing regular and nothing else

Most likely you will be in a lot of pain/uncomfortable because membrane sweeps only work if your more then 3cm dilated.
