Yes they say its cocaine with meth. I dont know why the other was pantsless. Odd. I owned a gun but i sold it. I would rather have a sword where im far enough and dont need to reload. Lol
i dont think its a zombie. It was just titled that from the news. If he was presumed dead then awoke. Hell id be preparing. I believe the world will end when Our lord decides. I feel better believing that too so i could see my child grow and live his life!

Its just a name, yes its cannabilism but its being called "zombie" because of their.behavior, they are so.out of it not really knowing what's going on, showing absolutely no fear and the growling.

Truth be told, the right amount of the right drug has been doing things like this to people for years. This behavior isn't really new, its just more drawn out than the others are. When it all comes down to it though, I would call it cannibalism, due to the fact that Zombies are usually dead first. Or at least are portrayed that way. Now, if the victim dies then comes back trying to eat people, then sure freak out, buy a gun, a nice machete to chop the head, and watch Sean of the Dead for some pointers lol.

We are planning on getting guns, my husband is a black belt and he will be teaching me basic self defense after I have the baby and will be teaching all three of our kids (my older one which is his step son and our two together) self defense when they get older and I will be getting our boys some sort.of dog that I know can and will be protective over them. I also pray everyday for God to keep his hand on my little family. It is a scary world we live in but I am a firm.believer in everything happens for a reason. That Miami thing was sick scary and crazy! I just heard about it today my friend showed me.the video online. Its so sad!

It was a horrific attack. Its supposed to be the new lsd nicknamed 'bath salt' for its appearance. I agree tmmoore. I have a good feeling ill be very communicative with my son. He will be respective and smart but he will also have a mixed martial arts background as I and my family does for discipline.

We need to take a look at the unhooked culture youngsters are participating in. Our children will be socialized into it and its just no good. I did a research paper on it and I found it quite interesting how adults get onto their kids and we stereotype kids about sex...yet parents talk about sex to their children but hardly ever the emotional feelings that come with relationships... and were always telling our kids that they don't have time for a bf or gf. Also the educational system promotes this hooking up behavior by having sex ed.... condom handouts...and plentiful resources for pregnancy, stds, and more but yet education is not giving information on live or emotional feelings that go with sex and relationships. Children interpret OUR communication as hooking up is beneficial and that's what were telling them to do. As parents we need to communicate to our children the combined topics to better guide them. Education also needs to step up, blame shouldn't be pushed on these kids....its us.

I think we all worry about it to a certain extent.  Like MamaBear said, every generation goes through this.  I agree with much of what she says.  There is so much more media focus, plus our news is International, so we don't just hear about what's going on at home, but everywhere else too.

With issues like drugs, violence, etc.  I believe that educating our children and being very open with them is part of the solution. I also think that making our children's homes as stable as possible, with strong boundaries in place can also help.  Being aware of what's happening in their lives, who their friends are, being as involved as you can in their school.  These are all ways to be on top of situations as they arise.

As for manners - I also agree.  My son is 2 and already knows to say please and thank you.  He doesn't get in trouble if he doesn't, but I do gently remind him.  We have since he started to be able to ask for things. It makes a big difference.

Every generation worries about the scary world they're bringing their child into. I'm a lot more concerned about the declining lack in manners and courtesy, I was raised kind of old school. But I'm a professor, and this is one of the things I teach: Violence actually isn't worse these days, violent crime has been going down for about 20 years. The way the media presents it to us make us think it's a violent world, but it's more uncommon than most of us think. The same is somewhat true about drugs, there's a misperception going on. Since the War on Drugs we've become a lot more aware of drugs, we've started incarcerating large numbers of people for drugs...there is a good bit of drug usage these days but if I were raising my child in the hippie era then maybe I'd be concerned with drugs.

It's not that I'm not worried about such things, it's just that I try to tell myself I'm going to do my best to raise a child to make good decisions. I will work hard to make sure that she is respectful and has good manners and good relationships, that she has good schooling and good opportunities so she can look beyond the moment and see what big things life has to offer. She will not have a cell phone, even if it makes her the most uncool kid in school :) and if I have to embarrass her so that she learns good morals I'm not afraid to call her out in front of her friends. Do your best and hope for the best, that's all the parents of any generation can do.
