Who cares what the baby looks like as long as he/she is healthy is all that matters!

Regardless of what race you are you are not guaranteed a pretty child. With you and your boyfriends races you are at least gonna have a child with nice skin color, it is hard to keep a nice year around tan.

She is probably worried about hair. Asian people have very pretty hair. No offense not meaning your baby won't have nice hair but that is the only thing I can think of about why she would be so rude. That is no excuse and she should never say such a thing and I would think twice before I let her around my kid.

I dated a black guy and my mom did not want us to have kids she said she did not want kids with bad hair. His mom was all for us having kids saying she wanted good haired grandkids. Lol. It is funny how they wanted opposite things for the same reason. I would be worried she may say something to the child later in life.

Your baby will be beautiful who cares what she thinks. Mixed babies almost always are the prettiest.

I wouldn't listen to her. I am Italian, finland and German. The father of my child is black, Haitian, and Jamaican. So my baby is going to be all types of everything. And she is definitely going to be beautiful no matter what. Just like your baby will be. You child will be beautiful to you no matter what anyone says.

Whats so bad about being or looking asian? Some of the most beautiful women in the world are asians eg. Marian Rivera. Doesnt matter what race or what skin colour you have that determines how beautiful you are. Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Black White Brown Yellow. And every baby is beautiful. And to listen to people telling you your kid is ugly is ridiculous. You shouldnt even be bothered in the first place.

I've seen some Asian/black people who are super pretty. I'm pretty sure there are some actors out there too. The race doesn't matter at all. In fact I've seen some pretty unatractive people of the same skin color (not the same as race) have really beautiful kids and I'm thinking dang! Where did they get those genes? So really you can't ever determine the outcome and it shouldn't matter :)

The fact that you even say "I don't like Asian" is sad and implies you think "looking Asian" isn't good. Sorry but I hate how some people are ashamed of what they are.  What's wrong with looking Asian? Embrace it. I'm Mexican and I hear people say stuff like "but I don't look Mexican" like OK, what does that mean? You look better cuz u don't "look" something?

That's so rude of her!!! My aunt showed up to the hospital an hour after I gave birth to my son and took one look at him and Said he was the ugliest baby she has ever seen and walked out of the room. If I could have climb out if that bed quick enough I would have beat the crap out of her. Ignore anyone else's Opinion their opinions Don't matter

Ahh, don't stress over this.  All babies are beautiful hon.  And your baby will always be beautiful to you!  Try to ignore that comment from your mother.  It's unfair and unkind.  hugs

Every race is beautiful, asian ,balck , white, spanish every race. Youre daughter , son, will be beautiful!!! And hopefully once your baby is born that wont even matter to your mom, i hope she sees the beautiful life you created. Good luck!

That's a very rude thing to say to anyone, much less your child. Don't put any stock into what she said. Your baby will be beautiful regardless of what sex it is or what race it is.
