mixed feelings

I'm so excited for this little girl to be here. But I'm so nervous at the same time. Like will I know when she's hungry or cold and how to raise her right. I've never even changed a diaper or even babysat in my life. I think my number one fear is ill screw this kids life up. Little kids make me nervous. I'm just hoping since it's my own that mothering instinct will just kick in. I'm due July 18.

Lol don't worry mama mothering instincts will definitely take over once you get baby home :) I decided to room with my 1st child in the hospital instead of having him go to the nursery. Not only did I want to bond but I also felt like it would help my instincts kick in while still having some help (from the nurses) it totally helped. By the time I got him home I felt enough confidence to handle things. That's been 13yrs ago now, and I'm also due in July (29th) but I don't feel like i've missed a beat, it's like riding a bike once you learn how you never forget! Trust me, once you and baby get a routine going you'll be amazed on how your mommy insticts will kick into full gear like you've been doing it your while life :) good luck mama, you'll do great!
