mucous plug ?

This morning I went to the bathroom and had pinkish discharge on my liner. I figured it's my mucous plug but now I have a brownish discharge coming out. I've been cramping for 3 days. I'm 38w4d. Am I getting close ? Should I call my doctor or wait ? My next appointment isn't until Friday.

It's possibly your mucous plug. Mine was color brown. But most of it came out during labor.
