mucus plug? please help!!!
OK so I'm 36 weeks w my second. I think j might have lost my mucus plug? Its we rid cause w my first I knew wen I lost it. This time it was long and white and thin with dark brownish-blackish spots on each end. It was not slimy. Matter of fact it resembled a long white drawstring wrapped in plastic like they do on hoodies and stuff. But I poked it w a throw away spoon and it was squishy but did not fall apart at all. Any ideas?
You can lose it at any time in your pregnancy and it can regrow. Don't count on that to mean that labor is near
Could have been your plug. It can regenerate itself. Losing it is not always an an indication that labour is near.
