my little girl has arrived! :)

I was induced early at 41 weeks due to lack of fetal movement! I went into the hospital on the 1st June at 8.30am and they inserted a pessary which had to be in for 24 hours! I started having contractions at 5pm that day! They kept getting worse but i was able to sleep with pills! They took the pessery out at 9.30am the next day and the contractions started getting worse! I had alot of gas and air to get through them and then had pethedine as pain relief! After 22 hours and then an hour of pushing our Phoebe was born at 4.05pm weighing a whopping 8lb 6oz! She did have her cord wrapped around her neck twice so once her ears came out they pulled her out very quickly! I had a second degree tear which is still very sore now! But being a mum is amazing! :) good luck when the time comes mummas!
