Hey ladies I'm 20w & 6d and I'm having a water birth anyone else having a natural birth or thinking about having one?

My best friend started out in the pool but ended up getting out and squatting

I like the idea of using the pool but pretty sure i will end up wanting meds

Omg I'm so excited and nervous everyone is trying to talk me out of it but I have my mind set and if I don't do it I will be wondering how it would have been so I'm going w/ my first option & that's water!

I had a natural birth with my first planning it for this one. I have also said I want to try water since I had horrible back labor and my previous ob was trying to keep me in bed! My new doc said no problem. All the rooms at my hospital have giant tubs in them so I can use it if I want

Ive put on my birth plan that i want a water birth but there is only one pool at the hospital so if its empty i can if its not i cant! Praying that its empty when i go into labour!!

Yea Iit wasn't offered where I was either but luckily all the hospitals are pretty much in the same area so its the same travel time so I was able to switch and its a good hospital goodluck w/ your little one too!

I'm so jealous. I really wanted to have a water birth but it is not offered at my hospital. I would have to drive 45min in order to have one. I am however planning on having a natural medication free birth if I can. I'm 33w and 4d. Good luck!
