need answers asap im freaking out

So I have a Doppler at home and every once in a while I check the heartbeat just for fun. I always find it in the same spot, same with when my doctor checks it's always on my right side like near my hip bone near my pelvic bone. My doctor has checked the left side too because of suspicion of twins but has never heard anything so told me probably not twins...I just checked now for shi*ts and giggled and heard one on the complete opposite side on my left...it sounds like its deeper down in my belly...so my actual question is, is it possible for me to hear the ONE heartbeat that is on my right side, way over on my left? I'm nearly in tears I needto know

when i first checked babies heart beat with my doppler at home, i kept teasing my husband that there were two babies in there because i could hear my baby girl's heart beat from the left AND right sides. my belly is kinda small though, so maybe that's why. i am definitely only having one baby

I'm not small, I'm a little overweight but I'm hoping that there's just one little munchkin in there, I'm not gonna stress, just gonna wait for the ultrasound and see what happens, that will be the moment of truth, I'll let y'all know what the outcome is :)

More than likely your doppler is picking up baby's hb from other side. They are designed to pick it up from a distance. If your a smaller framed person I personally think its just one baby. But def keep us posted :)

I know sometimes when my doctor will check, we will hear the heartbeat like It's far away, but then she moves more to one side, you'll hear the heartbeat more clear and louder which Is actually where he Is at. So he/she could've switched sides and your juss hearing the HB a lil' farther away then where he Is positioned.

You could try counting the beats per min on both sides to see if different.

No no, like I heard it just now like normal and while I was at it I checked the other side and went back and forth and heard it on both sides, I haven't had an us yet, my first one is Feb 4th its a nearly identical hb but this new one sounds slightly quicker

I could never find my babys hb bc he was so all over the place. Its very likely that he just moved.

It's also possible to hear your placenta so I wouldn't worry too much. Like babyboy said your baby could have switched spots.

Maybe the baby moved. My little girl always moves when the doctor is trying to get her heart beat. But usually like you the heart beat is found on the right I am 30wks. But its very possible your baby just moved. :)
