need help urine infection since a month

Hi
I am having urine infection since a month as I got the,reports today..  it was done in march...
The doc asked me to d urine culture again today
But told me its a serious problem it can cause abortion how can I take it easy by not collecting the report...
I didn't have any symptoms but I had it... Now worried
I am 21 week pregnant...

Wat can i do to get rid of this infection soon.. Pls help

I gave my urine sample on 13 march as my doc told general urine culture.
I didn't have any symptoms regarding uti..
I am on vaginal gestone tablet.. It can b a possibility of the traces of my tablet coming in the test...
And even those people didn't call me if they saw d report n I didn't collect.. I knw my mistake
Then wen I went today I collected d report n it said I have uti

Again today I gave urine sample to recheck...

Hope I don't have uti...

Hey guys I think she is saying that she never did the urine test that they asked for not that the drs didn't tell her for a month...

Komalk, if that is the case just take the above advice about water, underwear, pure clean juice etc but don't blame your daughter if you didn't give him the sample... good luck and make sure to ask for antibiotics like today

That makes it even worse if they know your pregnancy is high risk, can't you go to a different doctors surgery or hospital? That's absolutely shocking x

I,had given d sample on 11 march and I didn't collect it as I didn't feel anything wrong.. It was just a casual check..
N today 9 April I had an appointment n I collected d report Wich said I have infection..

Mine is high risk pregnancy.. So she told me I think...
I ve again given d sample fr urine culture hope for a positive report

You need antibiotics if it isnt passing on its own! Drink loads and loads of water, you can even drink sugar free Ribena as its high in vitamin C.

Also just to say you will not miscarry due to a urine infection, its if it spreads into a kidney infection it could cause problems. Your doctor should have been treating it from day one though!

Will try to drink more water now...I usually drink around 2 litres.. Will increase it...

I hope he put you on antibiotics... Or else you need a new doctor, you should have been called in asap after they got the results. Anyways, avoid taking a bath, use cotton underwear, change ur underwear often, avoid strong soaps, wipe front to back, blot dry your vaginal area instead of rub dry, avoid sex, drink 6-8 glasses of water a day && drink unsweetened cranberry juice, eliminate caffeine-sugar-fruity jucies && take vitaman C.

cranberry juice is good but you should tell your doctor she should prescribe you with antibiotics

you mean cause a miscarriage? and you can drink lots of water, cranberry juice bt make sure its not cranberry cocktail juice.
