newborns on airplanes?

I am due October 25 and my grandparents have a trip planned to Tennessee for thanksgiving because my great grandpa is sick.. baby girl will only be about a month old if she is due on time. Do any of you know if they will let me fly with her at a month old? I have heard both that baby will be fine with a binky or bottle on the way up and down but I also heard that their immune system is not quite built yet and they won't allow it. Any opinions? My mom said I will be fine..

Yea That's the only issue im worried about but I heard that to help with the ears you have them sucking on a bottle or Binky on take off and landing.. I guess we will see how this works out haha

i asked my doctor about taking a newborn on a airplane, he said he wouldnt advise it due to the baby will most likley get a ear infection from its ears poping

Check with the airline first and your pediatrician.some airlines require a note saying its safe for the baby to fly

Im not postive but awhile bk someone posted a similar question and ppl told her it was ok I would ask my doc before making a decision though

I don't think there's an age limit for babies. Just be careful since it's a cramped space and lots of germs
