what is pressure??

So I am 27 weeks and every now and then i get the painful little cramps and my doctor always just says beware of any pressure and if i feel any to get over to labor and delivery, but what exactly is pressure? Does it feel like your going to the bathroom or like in your back or like your stomach is expanding haha i feel so lost when i hear people say they feel pressure? Please someone explain this to me.

I was confused too but like she said when you feel it you'll know I didn't know what it was until I gave birth my third time and there's no mistaking that feeling

Like the pressure to push, vaginally sometimes yes it can feel almost like pushing for a bowel movement. Believe me when you feel it you will know :) I'm a week ahead of you and been having a lot of Braxton hicks and some real contractions :/
