no sac seen on u/s

hiiiiiiiiiiii i m very worried..................my lmp was 9th april acc to doc i m 8 weeks pregnant but i think my conception was late............few days back i had a urine test which gave a + but wen i went for an u/s they found nothing i m crossing my fingers a i will be repeatin it after 15 days................i hope its not a problem n everything is ok........i suffer from constant nausea but no vommitings plzzzzzzz advise it will be of help

It really just depends on the woman your dates could be off I think mine are I think I ovulated later so Anyhow I went and had ultrasound at a pregnancy center because military wont do one until your 10 -12 weeks but I had a blighted ovum in january so I wanted to know something.  She said I was only 4-5 weeks pregnant and we only saw a sac. I have to go back july 27th. I will pray for you though. It all just depends as some of the ladies stated earlier you might not see anything until later also you hcg levels can play a big part in it if your levels arent at least 1000 you wont be able to see anything. Someone told me your levels have to at least be 1000 to even see a sac. Good luck

Good News!!! My U/S today showed a single intrauterine pregnancy dating 8w2d... the heart rate was strong at 166 beats per minute... chance of carrying to term now is up to 94%!!!!! I hope you got good news like I did, but I just wanted to update everyone on my mystery dates :-)

Normal test results are a good thing! I'm glad :-) Now, if only there was a way to make the next week and a half go by faster! I hate waiting. I want dates so I can read my week by week pregnancy book :( Good luck with your wait, too.

i dont knw bout chemical pregnancy but my doc did a THS TEST which came out normal n i guess dat thyroid restrics growth which was ok

yes i m exactly facing the same problem............even i m plannig to get my next u/s on 21st may god help n shower blessings dis time..........i even had a THS TEST done n it was normal

This sounds like me, so you're definitely not alone. My lpm was Apr 10th, day 40 had bpn, but day 45 had bfp. I had an appointment with my doctor 2 weeks ago. They said I should've been 6 weeks, but nothing was visible on the U/S. They said I was probably only 4 weeks because of late conception. I don't go back til June 21st (2 weeks from today). I will keep you updated with what we find. Good Luck! I'm sure you and I have the same story and we will be able to see our little beans in a couple weeks :-)

I too wasn't able to see my baby until 9-10 weeks. It is possible that your dates could be off? And it also helps if the hospital is using a good quality ultrasound machine.

Did they do a vaginal ultrasound or external?

I wasnt able to see my baby via ultrasound until 9 weeks, she is now almost 4 months old. Don't loose hope, every pregnancy is different. I have 3 children, this one was stubborn and was in hiding.

If you WERE in fact 8 weeks pregnant you should have seen the sac, fetal pole and heartbeat, however if your conception dates are off it is possible it was just too early.  

Another possibility is a chemical pregnancy-where you have the hormones but no baby develops.  I hope that your ultrasound in 2 weeks brings you good news!!!
