:o ?

So I'm 38 weeks with 2 days , and when I first found of I was pregnant they told me my due date was JAN 24 ( yesterday) based on my last period. But when they did the ultrasound they moved my due date to FEB 6 , two weeks after. No complications during my pregnancy , everything good so far, but all I would hear was " I doubt you make it to January " like half of my pregnancy. But anyways my question is now that I'm getting closer and in the middle of my two due dates I haven't experience back pain yet, nor loosed the "mucus" plug. Do I have to experience that in order to into labor?

I'm 39+1 today and I lost my mucus plug yesterday, and i'm still pregnant so don't worry it means nothing! Every pregnancy is different just as each labor

No u don't, I am 38 weeks 4 days I haven't lost mine either with this pregnancy or my first one. I never even heard of that until I join this app. I had to google it. I am in school and still moving around with no problems. I go tomorrow to check to see if I'm dilated so far nothing.  My first pregnancy water broke out the blue and I wasn't experiencing no pain.

Some women don't lose their mucus plug until they're in labor. Or you may just have not lost it yet. I started losing mine at 38+6 and kept losing is until I was in labor at 39+4.
