opk question please help, so confused!

Hello

I posted yesterday as I have been using ovulation test strips to ttc baby number 4 with dh. I am a 30/31 day cycle and af started 17th Feb. I started using the test strips day 5 after af had finished, they are test strips that the nhs use. I had nothing on the test strips until 3rd March when after testing in the morning and getting nothing, I re-tested in the afternoon and got a very very faint and i mean very! faint line. I tested again yesterday morning and the line was slightly darker but not as dark as the control line, I tested again at lunch and the line was the same again. Dh and I bd last night. I have just done a test now at 12.30pm and there is a line there, but like the first day a very very faint line that is barely noticeable. Have decided to bd again tonight just to cover all bases, but am confused as to why the surge line never got as dark as the control line? Should I continue with test strips after today also?

Any advice greatly appreciated!

hi,

thanks for responding, i have indeed continued testing, yesterday there was a line there but only ever so slightly again, had to tilt the strip a certain way to even see it! today there is no line at all. i will continue with the remaining tests i have left and see what happens, think i have enough to last me 6 more days and cover me until af. i am expecting af 18/19 March, so will see what happens.

I think you should contiue to test the strips because you are still early. I have the same 30/31 cycle and my cycle came on Feb.14. I was suppose to be fertile the 1st thru 7th. I started testing on March 1st and got the control line and a very faint test line.. I contiued on to thursay and got a darker test line but not as dark as the control line. So last night I decided to test again and both line was the same which mean I am about to ovulate.. So contiue testing and your result should become postive within the day or to.
