I am pregnant with my second and both times I have experienced pain in my left hip to the point I can barely walk. I slept with a body pillow between my legs and would sleep without it some nights because I noticed that some days the pillow made it worse. Laying on your side and doing side leg raises helped me along with gently bouncing/rocking on a yoga ball.
