Me and my husband are buying a house that requires some work. I am currently 10 weeks and healthy. I was just wondering if painting is a bad thing during pregnancy. I understand painting the babies room, but we will be doing the whole house. I've only read things about lead paint. Haven't heard much of anything else and this is my first baby anything I've been pretty spastic about what I've been doing and not doing.

This is my first and his second so he isn't to worried. Now if I went through that then I'm sure he would be the same

I wish that's how mine was. My husband barely let's me lift a finger. I'll make dinner for him as a surprise and he gets upset that I did too much. I have miscarried before so he's super nervous about it happening again...

My husband doesn't let me do some stuff anymore. Mostly just lifting heavy stuff or painting. Other then that he says I am on my own lol

Thanks! He's been the same way but I just hate not being able to do anything. I feel like everyone thinks I'm dying and not just pregnant.

My doc said it was fine so i painted my daughters room i just took lots of breaks stay ventalated and wore a mask :) ask ur doc

I hear its not good to paint while pregnant and when my husband and I did our daughters room he wouldn't let me be in there. I would ask your doctor. It MIGHT be okay with the doors and windows open but I'm not sure.
