40 days since last period, 5 days late

Hi there,
I am now at 40 days since my last period, and I am approximately 5 days late for my period (supposed to start July 26th). I had all of the signs that my period was going to start, and I still feel a bit crampy. My cycle ranges from 27-36 days, so 40 is pushing it. I took a urine test a day after (July 27th) I was supposed to start my period, and it was negative. Any thoughts?

So, I am now 42 since my last period. Took another test this morning, at 1 week late..and it was negative. What's going on?

The mind is very powerful. Try relaxing and taking your mind off the idea. Once your far from it either your period will come down or you will test positive. Good luck.

I called my doctor, and they said to wait a few more days.
Hate waiting games. I feel like I'm going to start it, but nothing.

call your doc....they may be able to see whats going on.....

Try taking another one.. you may have tested too soon.
