For all the mothers that are planning on using play pens instead of cribs is it just me or there seem to not be enough cushion? Make me want to buy some type of foam to lay down there

They are not made for everyday sleeping but if money is tight people use them. Don't add padding the hardness lowers sids.

Yeah I have one and it do seem like it's going to be uncomfortable, and it's a play pen and bassinet so therefore it is for everyday sleeping.

I feel the same way. Ours comes with a napping station and a bassinet for when he gets older. It seems pretty decent. Not super cushiony, but good enough I suppose.

they are enough padding,just lay a thick blanket down over the sheet

I have the playard with the bassinet also.. that will be kept in my room and he has a crib in his nursery..

I to have a play yard with bassinet that will be used again. Once they outgrow the bassinet part it's not really ment for everyday sleeping. My daughter was about 5 months when she outgrew it. I've also had an Eddie bouer rocking bassinet and it was not coushined either. I honestly don't think any one will be. If your worried about it then fold a soft blanket and place it under the sheet.
