positive for strep b
Any ladies got a positive result for the strep b test? I just came from the doc. I'm 36+2 and I'm positive. Should I be worried?
No worries, I'm positive as well. The dr will handle it. You should have antibiotics after delivery & stay an extra day so both you and baby can be monitored.
I tested positive for it and I had my baby a week ago. They just put me on antibiotics before I had him. And they will keep you at the hospital 48 hours after you have your baby to make sure he's fine.
I tested positive, but they told me not to worry because they'll give me antibiotics durring labor and everything will be fine.
No don't be worried at all. Strep B is really common. It also comes and goes which is why they don't test you for it until towards the end of pregnancy. They'll just give you antibiotics during labor and everything will be fine. They'll probably have more check up appointments for baby but that's normal
