postpartum question

So I had my baby girl 3 days ago. I was wondering for the already mommies who gave birth vaginally, how long after did you keep bleeding down there? Only got a stitch or two internally.nothing major.have to wear diapers in the meantime because I feel a pad isn't enough hah

The bleeding itself will stop and then it'll turn an orange color, then a brown color(old blood I'm assuming) then a yellow orange color. It's pretty gross actually. I think it's called lochia?

The average is 4-6 weeks but all depends on your body.

With my first child I bled for almost 5 weeks..it was not fun! With my second child I only bled for about a week... so I guess it all depends on your body :( wish I could be more help! Congrats on the little one :)
