Hi there.  I'm happy to try and help answer your question.  You have low amniotic fluid?    A normal AFI is 5 to 25 cm.  What is your number? There are different reasons to have low amniotic fluid.  Here is an article.  https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/pregnancy-week-by-week/expert-answers/low-amniotic-fluid/faq-20057964  Here is a list of the most common reasons:

    Your water breaking
The placenta peeling away from the inner wall of the uterus — either partially or completely — before delivery (placental abruption)
Certain health conditions in the mother, such as chronic high blood pressure
Use of certain medications, such as angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors
Certain health conditions in the baby, such as restricted growth or a genetic disorder

But really, mom's health in terms of pregnancy diabetes or even just hydration can lead to it.  If you have low fluid levels, please work with your doctors.  Here is an article on ways to increase AFI  https://www.healthline.com/health/pregnancy/how-to-increase-amniotic-fluid.  First thing I'd really focus on is drinking more fluids. It DOES help.
