pregnant? HELP

Hi Sorry guys, i know I must sound absolutley bonkers but i have all symptoms of pregnancy but im still not 100% sure.

I had what i thought was a period on the 4th june but my regular periods last over 7 days and are very heavy, whilst this period only lasted 3 days and was not heavy at all, light even. My Partner who already has a 4 year old daughter was convinced i was pregnant with all my symptoms (tiredness, likeing foods i once hated, cravings, moodiness, bad back, extreme sore boobs/nipples and huge belly - i had gone from a size 10 jeans to a 12 because of my belly which was hard and rounded) so he booked an appointment wirth a midwife, who asked the same questions symptoms etc and about that period in june, she said that she was almost certain i was pregnant around 10 weeks if not more. but i still felt unsure, i dont know why i just do. So i did another preg test the next day and it came up with what i was sure of as positive (2 lines) but then i did one yesterday again (i know im mad but i just cant believe it) and it was negative. this was though late in the evening and i had drank allot of fluids and food. im now nearly 5 days past my july period due date and still no period so its looking more and more likley that i am. I am really excited about being a mom but obviously im still slightly in denial. what are your guys honest opinion? Btw My nipples at the momment are extremley sore and errect my boobs have grown like 2 cup sizes and my boobs itself hurt. this is the only time ive ever had a clevage ha!

I think possibly because I have ethers danlos syndrome preg tests may not always work on me, I know they didnt work on my sister when she was pregnant.

Maybe try a clear blue digital test. They make it nice by saying pregnant or not pregnant. I had all positives and still couldn't believe it so I took a clear blue as well lol. Most likely pregnant, though it's odd to get a negative after testing positive. It is possible to get false positives, just very unlikely. I'm sure your midwife will test you again to be sure or do an ultrasound!

With my first child I had taken three home tests saying positive, the doctors urine test was positive and the blood was negative so they told me I wasn't pregnant, three weeks later three more home tests with positive, and finally the bpood test was positive, mine was due to not being very far along. Your breasts can get tender and start swelling 3 to 5 days after conception in some women... go for another test and call a doctor

my last real period was end april babe begining of may! (proper period) congrats! yeah my periods are regular usually but long like 7 days or even more and very heavy. xx

When was your last period hun. I'm 13weeks and 2days my last period was 13 th of April but that doesn't measure up to how many weeks my baby is so I ovulated early obviously but yh so if your 10weeks or more your period would of been in may I think when was your last period and is it regular xx and congrats

The boobs just stop hurting for me! My nipples still hurt. I used to let hit water run on them in the shower thats soothing. You can try a heating pad also.

midwife said that I should go with the positive test and all my symptoms were a big sign of pregnancy so they never asked for a blood test. I think the fact that I walked in the office covered in a hot sweat (get hot flushes allot at the momment its awful!) was a sign in itself ha

Thankyou! Yeah Its my first obviously so it all seams sureal. So happy though, So excited to be a mum. Congratulations too! awww I have another midwife appointment thursday so I will keep you and everyone updated on how that goes!

Can anyone give me tips on the boobs thing? Its awfull. :(

I think your pregnant. Congratulations . I had a lot of denial in the beginning also. Im now 20 weeks with a beautiful baby girl. Ive seen her In ultrasound pics and all but I still cant believe it sometimes.

I would go with the positive test. A pregnancy test wouldn't come up as a false positive but indeed will come up as a false negative

Did ur doctor do a blood test? U would know for sure then.
