pregnant and cramping

I just found out that i was pregnant yesterday but for almost 2 weeks i have been having these period-like cramps that come and go. I have heard that it was an early pregnancy sign but i just want to hear others opinion.
Also it has never been accompanied by bleeding it has just been cramps and occasionally gas!! ALL  info is well needed!!

I am 9 1/2 weeks and I still get those cramps.  It's just your uterus preparing for the "big stretch."  It is normal to have the cramps throughout because your uterus is a muscle that is being stretched like it's never been stretched before.  As long as the cramping is not taking your breath away and not accompanied by bleeding your fine.  I even asked my MD about it at my first appt and she said it's very very normal.  Try to relax and enjoy.

Sounds normal, but keep an eye out. Not to scare you but i had period like cramps for like 2 months on and off. I kept asking my mom if that was normal, it didnt seem normal. Well turned out to be ectopic. BUT i also did spot on and off and bled for a week lightly when i was like 6 weeks. Just rest and ask the doctor.

Well, cramps and gas are associated with being preggers! I wouldn't worry to much about it. Your not bleeding so thats a good sign!!

I think you're alright I had cramps for a few weeks after I got my BFP with this pregnancy :). If it gets bad or obviously if you start bleeding, call the doctor or go in to be seen...but it is fairly normal as the uterus is softening and changing to support the pregnancy now. Congrats on your BFP!
