Period a day after, two days of unprotected sex...

Okay, so i had sex in September around the middle, maybe even the end of the month can't really remember, i was on top, he came inside and i laid on my back afterwards. then i had my period acouple days later, not exactly crazy heavy or anything.
So now again this month(October) it's kind of happening again, period after having sex i mean..
I had sex the night/ early morning of October 22nd, then again the morning/ afternoon of October 23th, both times unprotected.  I started my period about 7:45am the 25th of October, but it looked like some soaked into my underwear so i may have started during the night while sleeping. The blood was bright red at first and had been light all day, now it's starting to clot, the clots are the only thing dark about the blood and it hasn't gotten any heavier really.. And i took a pregnancy test around 4-5pm something because i was just sort of scared i guess, but it came back negative, though it was only a dollar, it said it was 99% accurate and it doesn't matter if you're on your menstrual.
Did i take the test way to early or is there just not a possibility that i am in fact pregnant??!
I could really use some help, an educated guess is enough for me!

Thanks.. Is there a lesser chance of the correct lines coming up on an HTP if it's one that's from a dollar store?

It takes about 14 days for pregnancy to show on a home pregnancy test so if you tested within a few days of unprotected sex, you tested too early.

If you don't want to have a baby right now, PLEASE use condoms! They not only help prevent unwanted pregnancy, they also help protect against infections which people can have without knowing it and pass on to their sexual partners.
