pregnant friend....being annoying

I have a friend who's about a month and a half ahead of me (both ftm) and she's severely annoying. She acts like she knows everything about pregnancy and then freaks out over everything and is constantly in the ER. I understand her wanting to give me advice. But when I give her advice she acts like I'm stupid. I know I'm not a Dr. And don't know everything. But I have taken an EMT course and a massage therapy course that gave me great understanding on how the human body works. A lot of the reasons she goes to the ER are regular pregnancy symptoms. I get being paranoid, as I get paranoid too. But I don't know how much longer I can deal with how over dramatic she's being. And I feel like next time I explain to her what's happening to her body and she blows off what I say, proceeds to the ER and finds out I was right, I don't feel like I'm going to be very nice about saying I told you so. Again I'm no professional, but I do have more medical knowledge than she does and not to sound stuck up but I've never been ableto hhandle people acting like they are smarter than me when they clearly aren't. I know that sounds really vain but my intelligence is all I've ever really had goingfor me. I'd also like to point out she has an overdramatic personality in general so its not just hormones. Sorry if I seem insensitive, I just don't deal well with stupidity and needed to vent.

I read that and laughed so hard! That is EXACTLY something my friend would say! Good luck with the In laws though. I'm glad my bfs mom realizes I don't care about anyone's opinion. I'm going to do what I want anyways.

I have a friend exactly like that and thinks every one is wrong All the time.,i hate talking to her BC it becomes very frustrating.
Like if i say something is wrong and she has a "fact"to prove it.
For example, today she texted me and asked what i was having.
I told her a boy.
She said I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Every one i personally know is pregnant.
So i told her "the majority of people i know are having boys. Feels like boy season"
She then quickly replys "nope! Two of my friends are having girls, so its not every one having boys"

I was so so so so annoyed that i couldn't even reply BC i was so annoyed.  I never said every one,i said the Majority if WHO I KNOW.
Needless to say i only talk to her once a month and she can't figure out why.
The worst of them all is my MIL. She is under educated about modern day birthing.
And tries to convince me to do the opposite of my birth plan.
I really dislike my in laws ideology. It makes it very difficult to live with them. But we have  no choice. They are nice but idk.  Hope to move out soon

The only reason I haven't dropped her as a friend is because she doesn't have any friends that actually care and I don't want her to have to feel like she's alone since her child's father is a low life (given her chlymidia twice, broken up with her 10 million times, no job, treats her like **** but she keeps going back) I couldnt sleep at night knowing that she didn't have anyone trying to help her....but she makes it hard

When she has a problem and doesn't listen stop trying to help. You can't help no one that doesn't want help. She is being ignorant. Sorry to say that about her because she is your friend  but she is just doin to much.

My sis in law is just a bit past her due date and her Dr doesn't want to induce because her baby is posterior. I have some advice on how to get him to turn so she can go into labor but she doesn't like me so she'd never listen. Never mind that I've been learning everything I can about birth since I found out I was expecting my daughter in March of 2012!
