Mirena and Pregnancy symptoms

I have a 3 year old daughter and had the mirena placed when she was about 8 weeks of age. I very rarely have noticable periods and if i do they last 1-2 days are just spottings.

This past weekend my breast became sore in/out of a bra, noticeably fuller and heavier. My nipples are very sensitive, and tingly and the areolas are a little darker.

I have not spotted yet but that is not unusual.

I am very tired, headaches, not sleeping as well as I usually do.

I have had a few other times i had thought i was pg, but it all turned out negative. this time my breasts feel that same as when i found out i was pg with my daughter.

what could be going on?

It was there but they were ready to scheule me for some crazy surgurey to have it removed when finally I got the good dr to come and 123 all done!   Enjoy feeling good again!!

I am not pregnant and have tested several times since this post. I will be going in soon to have the mirena removed due to me now having 5-7 periods in one month.

Thank you ladies

I had the same experience as Majikat. Once it was gone...I felt like a new woman. It took a while for my cyles to get back to normal and almost 10 months to conceive after removal.

If you keep feeling prego...do get checked out. I know ectopic pregnancies can occur while on the mirena.

I had the mirena for 4 and a half years and it always made me feel preg but I never was.... I noticed that the day after geting it out my body felt so much better... I had no Idea that it was screwing with my system so much... I was so in love with it until it was gone and I realized all the crap it was doing to me
