prolonged period

My period has always been normal and regular but I didn't get my usual period this month. I spotted at the beginning of the month for about 1 week and then about 2  weeks later I got my period.  I took 2 tablets of naproxen 500mg for the treatment of headache the day before my period started and haven't taken them again. The bleeding was normal for the first week but I continued to spot afterwards and now I'm on my third week of spotting.I was doing some research and read that NSAID can cause abnormal vaginal bleeding. Do you think this is the cause of my abnormal bleeding? Could I be pregnant or is it due to something else?

yes naproxen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and no I'm not trying for a baby. would a pregnancy test be accurate if I take it while I'm still spotting or is it better to wait until I stop stopping?
