question about being induced??

I have a son who I gave birth to naturally, but this time my doctor wants to induce me at 38 weeks. Is being induced more painful? I want to know from people that have had both induced and normal. I didn't have an epidural the first time so im wondering if I should have it this time...

So it will probably hurt more being induced then, I think I am going to get an epidural then. They want to induce early because of high blood pressure, since I have never had it it worries him that I have it now.

Why do they want to induce so early? The reason people say it hurts more is because its medicine telling your body to contract and instead of gradually gettin there they are back to back.

I was induced with my first and going to be induced again in a few weeks. I have no idea what it feels like to go naturally so I cant really tell you the difference but I can tell you I was only 8hours in labour with daughter. I have seen people say its more sore but I think everyone is different and react different

I haven't personally being as im a ftm. But my was induced with me and 2 of my brothers. She had one natural and he was 10 pounds and she says that was her easiest labor. She said being induced made her contraction worse. She got the epidural with the last one cause being induced hurt worse.
