ridiculous myths

So I've heard and seen some Pretty ridiculous myths about pregnancy. My favorite has to be that scratching your belly causes stretch marks. I itch and scratch all the time and I'm stretch mark free! Any other mamas here see or hear a Ridiculous myth that made you crack up?

I've heard that one and I'm the exact same way. If it were true I'd  have miscarried a long time ago. I ride horses so I'd definitely have if that was the case

Scratching your belly doesn't cause or make stretch marks worse ...the reason you itch is because your skin is stretching and ripping if you have stretch marks they are gunna grow and get worse the bigger you get doesn't matter if you scratch them or not ....my favorite myth is if you do any house work or light lifting it will make you miscarry..if that were true I'd never be able to have babies lol I'm way to independent for that

Scratching only makes them worse if they're there already. But I remember when the lunar or solar I can't remember eclipse happened my MIL told me I had to wear something metal and red if I wanted to see it because my baby would come out deformed. I didn't wear either of those and I've had ultrasounds that show a perfectly developed baby with nothing wrong.
